A group of products a customer can browse.
Collections can be manual (hand-picked) or automated (rules over tags, type, price, vendor or metafields). Each collection has its own URL, SEO title, meta description, hero image and product sort order. Manual collections are best for curated features that don't map to a rule; automated collections scale as the catalog grows. Both can be linked from navigation, campaigns and Shopify Markets, and both need their own SEO fields — inheriting from products is not enough.
